.....The sakura were in bloom again this spring.
I watched the new students making their way into the
school on the first day.
Then.....
Aki:  Hi, there, %001!
I look beside me. Aki was there.
Aki:  ...%001?
%001:  Mm?
Aki:  What do you want to name our child?
%001:  ...............
%001:  WHAT?!?!
Aki:  ........Just kidding!
%001:  ....Don't ever do that again!
Aki:  But someday, I want to have your baby.
%001:  .....................
%001:  What's a guy supposed to say in response to
something like that?
Aki:  Shall I tell you?
%001:  What?
Aki:  This is what you're supposed to do!
Just as she spoke, she jumped at me with her arms open.
She smiled. It was a full, happy smile.
If I can see that smile every day for the rest of my
life, I won't have any complaints at all.
I pulled Aki to me, and we both looked up at the
sakura.

(That's right! That was the beginning of it all...!)
